Day 3: Seperated

So after a fun 10 hour layover eating and drinking with Charlottes friends, everything kind of fell apart, about an hour before we had to leave for the airport Charlotte had an allergic reaction to her contacts, she had to run to the hospital while I went to the airport. Once there they informed me they couldn't change our tickets without charging a couple hundred dollars. In addition since it was a layover, they weren't sure if our bags were still going to Hong Kong or if they had been pulled off. So while Charlotte had no choice but wait for another flight, I decided to take my flight to save the money. So now I am in Hong Kong finally going to get some sleep, while Charlotte is in Taipei trying to get her eyes to recover so she hopefully can get a flight over here tomorrow.
