Day 64: Zhangjiajie(張家界)

Zhangjiajie(張家界), not Zhang Ziyi(章子怡)
We are off to a national park, but we would spend the first night just in the city nearby and its probably the one cities name I never say right and end up just saying the actress name from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon(臥虎藏龍), Zhang Ziyi(章子怡) and Charlotte gets really annoyed.

Train ride
Most of the day was spent in the train. We didnt get into town until mid afternoon and then had to check into our hotel.  We walked around the city for a while and picked up a new headset for my computer so I could try out google's free calling service which was really good.  Then we got some very good and very cheap food, so cheap that we thought we ordered the wrong dishes because it was only $1.50 each dish, but they were huge.  After dinner Charlotte and I walked around the town and confirmed that we were back to the rural part of China again because there are huge signs on the wall put out by the government saying "Please be civilized and speak Mandarin instead of your local language".

From 77 Days in China
The two left dishes were a $1.50 each. The right one was expensive, about $6
