We flew to Shenzhen first thing in the morning and then had to take a bus and a cab to a hotel that was near to where we were going to meet one of Charlotte's friends from Seattle that now lives there. We got to the hotel around noon and spent most of the day in bed. We explored the area around the hotel a little, but we were about 20 km from downtown and so there wasn't much around the hotel.

Dinner
Around 6pm Charlotte's friend picked us up for dinner and some of his employees also joined us. There were a ton of dishes and like most dinners in asia a lot of beer. Of course it is not sipping beer, but filling the glasses and finishing it anytime someone cheers you. Luckily asian beer glasses are very small.
