Day 42: Hohhot (呼和浩特) and Dantong (大同)

Eye problems
As I mentioned we were exhausted and fell asleep early, however
thinking it would just be a nap, Charlotte didn't take out her
contacts.  When we woke up around 10am Charlottes eyes were really
hurting her again and she couldn't do anything.  Therefore we stayed in
our hotel room until 1pm when we checked out.

Mongolian Hot Pot
For lunch headed to get some Mongolian Hot Pot at a famous restaurant
called "little sheep" (小肥羊).  We had actually eaten there before, but in
Vancouver and Los Angeles.  We got various types of lamb meat and it was a very tasty
hot pot, although they couldn't bring us tea to drink because that
station was closed.  Instead they just brought us hot water, we felt
like explaining to them that it is not hard to make tea if you have
the leaves and hot water, but decided we were fine without it.

Bus to Dantong (大同)
After hotpot we headed to the bus station and had a 4 hour bus ride to
Dantong.  I will never complain about distances between cities in the
US again, this was a short ride for us, but like most Chinese buses
they refuse to turn on the A/C until enough people yell at the driver.
Once we arrived we checked into our hotel around 9:50pm and headed
out around 10 to get something to eat, but it turns out everything
around us closed at 10.  Instead I just grabbed 2 beers and headed
back to the room.
